REUNION D'INFORMATION WEP A TOURS / WEP INFORMATION MEETING IN TOURS

Voici quelques photos du week-end à Tours où tous les participants se sont rejoints pour préparer le départ. Au programme : ateliers découverte, mises en situations, briefing sur les règles à retenir et différences culturelles, petit show pour "rapprocher" les participants...

Les deux gros chocs du week-end :
-Interdiction absolue de boire une goutte d'alcool ou d'aller à une fête où il y a de l'alcool, sous peine d'être renvoyer en France si on nous attrape. (Pas que je boive de l'alcool bien sûr...)
-100 $ la consultation chez le médecin !!!

Here are some pictures of the week-end in Tours where all the participants met for the begining of the experience (even if it's kind of already began). On program : discovery workshop, every days life's scenes simulations, briefing on the rules of the program and culture shocks, a tiny show to bring closer together the participants.

The two big shocks of the week-end :
-It is absolutely forbidden to drink even a drop of alcool or to go to a party where there is alcool, except if you want to go back home, if you are caught. (Not that I drink alcool of course...)
-100 $ the physician office hours (21 € in France) !!!!

VAUX-SUR-SEINE

Lors du dépot du dossier que les exchange students devaient remplir, un album photo pour la famille d'accueil nous a été demandé (il s'agit de quelques photos servant à nous illustrer dans notre famille, nos amis, nos activités...). Dans celui-ci, une photo présentant notre ville était suggérée afin de présenter notre cadre de vie. Cependant, comme ce dossier a été préparé pendant l'hiver et que je n'avais pas de photos de Vaux-Sur-Seine (le mot vient de vallée), ma ville, je n'ai pus en ajoutant à mon Student's Album Photo. Voici donc quelques photos de la ville que j'ai prises aujourd'hui.

When the exchange students had to fill in the application, a "photo album" was required to introduce ourselves in our family, with friends, during hobbies... A picture of our town was suggested in order to present our surrounding. However, I couldn't add any to my album because it was winter and I didn't have any picture of Vaux-Sur-Seine (the word Vaux comes from valley and the Seine is the river that goes through the town [and also through Paris] - Sur means upon). So here are some pictures of my town I took today : better six than one !
